Filtering the Money Collected For Fees, Fines, Costs and Restitution Dashboard

 

 

The following information applies to both the Common Pleas Court and Magisterial District Court versions of this dashboard.

 

This dashboard displays the disbursement of monies collected by the courts to state/local governments and other public entities.

 

Within this dashboard, data filters can be applied to customize the information displayed. Across the top of the screen, three options are available to filter the statistics appearing on the dashboard:

 

 

 

Select a Docket Type

 
 

     

A method for logically separating financial statistics by cases that share fundamental legal characteristics. For the Courts of Common Pleas, this dashboard can be evaluated by Adoptions, Criminal, Juvenile, Miscellaneous, or Summary Appeal cases, or the financial information for all cases can be displayed collectively. A general category, Other, is also available for assessments that don't fall into one of these other categories (ex. non-case assessments). For the Magisterial District Courts, this dashboard can be evaluated by Traffic, Non-Traffic, Criminal, Civil, Landlord/Tenant, Miscellaneous, or the financial information for all cases can be displayed collectively. A general category, Other, is also available for assessments that don't fall into one of these other categories (ex. Dependency, Administrative, Juvenile Miscellaneous, non-case assessments, etc.).

Selecting any Pennsylvania county from this dropdown updates the dashboard to reflect the information for that county only. The information for all counties displays by default.

Selecting one of the classes from this dropdown updates the dashboard to reflect the information for the counties in that class only. The information for all classes displays by default. The use of this filter is dependent on the Select a County filter being set to ‘(All)’.
