Applicants must be members of the Pennsylvania bar, except for two membership positions that are reserved for non-lawyer members. Applicants should be knowledgeable about the practice of federal or state law in Pennsylvania.
The Board meets three times each year, typically in the eastern, western and middle parts of the Commonwealth. The Board also meets once by conference call. Meetings last approximately one-half to one day in duration. Preparation time requiring review of several files is required before each meeting.
