In 2024, the number of new Protection from Abuse (PFA) orders filed statewide increased by <1% from 2023. A PFA is a civil court order to help protect victims of domestic violence, providing relief from abuse by an intimate partner, family or household member. Pennsylvania Supreme Court to Hold Oral Argument Session in Pittsburgh

The Supreme Court of Pennsylvania will hold oral argument sessions on Tues., Oct. 7, and Wed., Oct. 8 in the Supreme Court courtroom in the City-County Building, beginning at 9:30 a.m. each day.
