Description

This is an advanced information technology position responsible for providing high quality design, analysis, development, programming, testing, implementation, and maintenance for the Unified Judicial System’s Web Portal and associated applications. This requires extensive knowledge of ASP .Net Core 3.1, Entity Framework Core, Identity Server 4, C# 7.3+, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, HTML, rest based web services and web API’s, relational databases (SQL Server and Sybase ASE), IIS, and AOP/OOP in the execution of a standardized development process. Duties are performed in a team-based working environment, under limited supervision.

Primary Duties

  • Conducts in-depth analysis of current business practices; proposes, develops and implements detailed system changes based on results of analysis.
  • Develops and performs complex web-focused coding using .NET technologies, JavaScript and T-SQL programming.
  • Analyzes and corrects existing code; performs testing to confirm application changes; researches and corrects user problems and known bugs.
  • Handles all change management requests and follows established change management and code propagation procedures.
  • Analyzes database objects to determine how the design relates to the code; reads and comprehends database model and code; suggests database changes as needed to meet coding and business needs.
  • Develops written documentation for complex code and coding methods.
  • Works with other development teams on system integration of web applications to existing case management systems.
  • Discusses alternatives and approaches with colleagues as part of a team.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with an IT-related major or minor; AND
  • Two years of related technical experience.
  • An equivalent combination of education, experience, and / or training may be considered.

Additional Requirements/Preferences

  • Satisfactory criminal background check required.
  • Prior experience with Git and Azure DevOps is preferred.
  • Prior experience with Visual Basic .NET, object-relational mapping (NHibernate), messaging (MSMQ/WebSphere) and WCF is a plus.
