Pa. Advisory Council on Elder Justice in the Courts, Elder Justice Partners Host Virtual Town Hall on Understanding and Preventing Elder Abuse

The Pa. Advisory Council on Elder Justice in the Courts, along with its criminal justice partners, will hold two virtual town-hall discussions on elder abuse and financial exploitation. 

The first virtual town hall on understanding and identifying elder abuse in Pa. will be held June 16 at 10:30 a.m.

The events will be available for the public and media to view on Webex, Facebook Live and YouTube Live. Participants can submit comments and questions via court social media pages (Twitter @PACourts or Facebook @pennsylvaniacourts).

Those scheduled to participate in the first town hall include:

  •  Hon. Sheila Woods-Skipper, moderator and judge, Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas
  • Mark Levenberg, senior deputy, Pa. Office of Attorney General
  • Denise Getgen, director, Protective Services Office, Pa. Department of Aging
  •  Leah Finlayson, Esq., director, Victim Services, SeniorLAW Center
