Pennsylvania Supreme Court to Hold Oral Argument Session in Pittsburgh

The Supreme Court of Pennsylvania will hold oral argument sessions on Tues., April 18 and Wed., April 19 in the Supreme Court Courtroom at the City-County Building in Pittsburgh, beginning at 9:30 a.m. on both days.

Members of the media and the public are welcome and encouraged to attend. Seating in the courtroom is always available on a first come-first serve basis. As a reminder, the use of any electronic or recording devices, including cell phones, cameras, laptops and smart watches, is prohibited inside the courtroom.

As the highest Court in the Commonwealth and the oldest appellate court in the nation, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court is the definitive interpreter of Pennsylvania’s Constitution and laws. The Court has full administrative authority over all aspects of Pennsylvania’s judicial system and may also hear cases involving issues of immediate public importance arising in any court in the Commonwealth.
