Pennsylvania Supreme Court Announces Appointment to Juvenile Court Rules Committee

HARRISBURG, March 20, 2009 — The Supreme Court of Pennsylvania today announced the appointment of Ronald A. Turo, Esq., to the Juvenile Court Procedural Rules Committee. Turo, of Cumberland County, was appointed to the committee to complete the remaining term of the Hon. John F. Cherry that expires Feb. 1, 2010. The Juvenile Court Procedural Rules Committee is an advisory body to the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania that is responsible for examining and evaluating the rules and standards governing juvenile dependency and delinquency procedure and practice. The committee is comprised of nine members, and two ex-officio members, who serve terms of three years. Members may serve a maximum of two full terms.
