HARRISBURG, April 1, 2008 — The Supreme Court of Pennsylvania today announced the appointment of the Hon. Robert A. Graci to the Lawyers Fund for Client Security Board. Graci, a former judge for the Superior Court of Pennsylvania, currently heads the Appellate Practice Group for Eckert Seamans in Harrisburg. Graci was appointed to a three-year term that begins today. The Pennsylvania Lawyers Fund for Client Security was established by the Supreme Court on April 30, 1982, as a means of helping clients recover some or all losses of money and/or property stolen from them by their attorneys. It is funded by a special annual assessment paid by any attorney admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania. This board that administers the fund includes five lawyers and two non-lawyer public members. Each member term is three years in length and a member may serve a maximum of two consecutive terms.
