Pennsylvania Supreme Court Announces Appointments to Juvenile Court Rules Committee

HARRISBURG, February 6, 2007 — The Supreme Court of Pennsylvania today announced the appointments of the Hon. John F. Cherry and Patricia Kennedy, Esq., to the Juvenile Court Procedural Rules Committee. Judge Cherry, of the Dauphin County Common Pleas Court, was appointed to a threeyear term that began Feb. 1. Kennedy, of Erie County, also was appointed to three-year term, beginning Feb. 1. The Juvenile Court Procedural Rules Committee is an advisory body to the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania that is responsible for examining and evaluating the rules and standards governing juvenile dependency and delinquency procedure and practice. The committee is comprised of nine members and one ex-officio member who serve terms of three years. Members may serve a maximum of two full terms.
