Pennsylvania Supreme Court Announces Reappointment of Juvenile Court Rules Committee Members

HARRISBURG, January 23, 2006 — The Supreme Court of Pennsylvania today announced the reappointment of two members of the Juvenile Court Procedural Rules Committee. The Hon. Carol K. McGinley, of Lehigh County and Francis Barry McCarthy Jr., Esq., Allegheny County, were reappointed to three-year terms beginning Feb. 1, 2006. McCarthy and Judge McGinley also were redesignated as chair and vice chair, respectively. The Juvenile Court Procedural Rules Committee is an advisory body to the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania that is responsible for examining and evaluating the rules and standards governing juvenile dependency and delinquency procedure and practice. The committee is comprised of nine members and one ex-officio member who serve terms of three years. Members may serve a maximum of two full terms.
