Pennsylvania Supreme Court Reappoints Members to the Juvenile Court Procedural Rules Committee

HARRISBURG, January 30, 2003 — The Supreme Court of Pennsylvania today announced the reappointment of two members to the Juvenile Court Procedural Rules Committee. Reappointed were: Francis Barry McCarthy Jr., Esq., of Allegheny County and the Hon. Carol K. McGinley, Lehigh County. Each was reappointed for a term of three years, beginning February 1, 2003. McCarthy also was redesignated as chair and McGinley, vice chair. The Juvenile Court Procedural Rules Committee is an advisory body to the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania that is responsible for examining and evaluating the rules and standards governing juvenile delinquency procedure and practice. The committee is comprised of nine members and one ex-officio member who serve terms of three years. Members may serve a maximum of three full terms.
