Pennsylvania Supreme Court Names CascioTo Chair The Orphans’ Court Procedural Rules Committee

HARRISBURG, January 10, 2001 — The Supreme Court of Pennsylvania today announced the designation of the Hon. John M. Cascio, of Somerset County, as chairman of the Orphans’ Court Procedural Rules Committee. The seven-member committee reviews current rules governing statewide practice and procedure in the orphans' court, recommending new rules as necessary. The committee also responds to questions from the bench, bar and public. Cascio replaces the Hon. Jane Cutler Greenspan who had chaired the committee since January 1999.
