Justice Mundy takes oath of office

Chief Justice of Pennsylvania Thomas G. Saylor has administered the oath of office to Justice Sallie Updyke Mundy to bring the state’s highest court to its full complement of seven members.

Justice Mundy had served on the Superior Court of Pennsylvania since 2010 until she was nominated to a vacancy on the Supreme Court by Gov. Tom Wolf and confirmed by the state Senate. Justice Mundy, of Tioga County, spent two decades in private practice before her election to the Superior Court.
