Pennsylvania’s problem-solving courts - A different path for justice

Problem-solving courts – including veterans courts, adult and juvenile drug courts, DUI courts and mental health courts – are changing lives in Pennsylvania by diverting nonviolent offenders from jail if they comply with treatment and program requirements. 

The infographic below highlights problem-solving courts data from July 2015 to May 2016. With 104 problem-solving courts across the state, 2,587 defendants were referred to these specialty courts during the reporting timeframe.
